THE MACKENZIE PLAN:

 A STRONGER AMERICA FOR US

“When you elected me to Congress, I promised to put partisan politics aside and focus on the issues that matter. As a member of the Problems Solver Caucus, that’s exactly what I’ve done. By working across the aisle - and together with you – we’re achieving positive results. But I know there is much more to be done. My plan is simple: focus on core issues that affect all of us and find common-ground, common-sense solutions to address them.”

Ryan’s 12 PRIORITIES TO HELP YOU

Deliver Real Relief for Every American

When inflation soared after the pandemic, everyone in our community fell behind. That’s why Ryan Mackenzie worked so hard to deliver tax relief for every American in his first year in Congress – from increasing the standard tax deduction to eliminating taxes on Social Security for nearly 90% of seniors. Now he’ll continue the fight to make life more affordable through initiatives that provide further tax relief to working families, reduce the cost of healthcare and prescriptions, unleash American energy to reduce utility rates, and better control government spending.

Safeguard Social Security and Medicare

In Congress, Ryan refused to support any budget that reduced Social Security benefits. He also voted to invest more in Medicare every year –  no cuts – while also successfully advocating for higher Medicare Advantage reimbursement rates. He’ll go back to Congress and continue the fight to preserve Social Security and Medicare for the future.

Stand Up for Working Families

The very first package of bills Ryan introduced in Congress included proposals to the Child Tax Credit, childcare tax credits, and more. While Congressman Mackenzie was able to include these ideas in the Working Families Tax Cuts, he’s not done yet – continuing to team with legislators from across the aisle to support a host of commonsense legislative initiatives that make life easier for working families.

Hold Washington Accountable

Ryan Mackenzie went to Congress to make a difference, not a profit. That’s why he is leading the charge to crack down on congressional stock trading. He has also backed legislation to establish congressional terms limits — because serving in Congress should be a commitment, not a career.

Bring Resources Home to our Communities

In less than two years as a member of Congress, Ryan Mackenzie has brought tens of millions of dollars back to the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos, including:

- More than $103 million for local healthcare providers.

- Over $5 million for buildings and equipment for first responders.

- $3.7 million for housing, redevelopment, and blight removal.

- $2 million to support expansions at Lehigh Valley International Airport.

- Over $1 million for various infrastructure improvements.

- $47 million for local manufacturing.

If we send him to Washington again, Ryan will continue to successfully advocate for our fair share of federal dollars to address important local needs.

Improve Housing Affordability

Housing prices in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos skyrocketed from 2020-2024. That’s why Ryan Mackenzie focused on providing the help that local families deserve – and was successful in passing the largest-ever expansion of affordable housing tax credits, which will help tocreate over one million new affordable housing units nationwide.

When he returns to Washington, Ryan will continue to partner with Democrats and Republicans to support smart policies that continue to improve housing affordability.

Reduce Health Care Costs

Ryan understands the concerns we all have over healthcare costs and access. Already in Congress, he has taken on the big insurance companies and middlemen who drive up costs – passing legislation that puts patients before profits.

In his next term, Ryan will continue his fight by advocating for common-sense legislation that lowers costs, improves transparency, and ensures greater access to quality care.

Secure the Border & Cracking Down on Trafficking

After decades of empty talk by the politicians, Ryan Mackenzie finally secured America’s border from illegal immigration through his work on the Homeland Security Committee. He also helped secure new resources to prevent human trafficking and drug smuggling. But Ryan knows the fight against human trafficking and illegal drugs is never truly over, which is why he will continue to work across the aisle for smart policies that do even more to fight these horrible crimes.

Support Veterans & Servicemembers

To honor the sacrifices made by our veterans and service members, Ryan passed legislation that raises pay for active duty service members, expands their access to childcare, and improves their quality of life.

Now he’s working to pass bipartisan legislation he introduced to improve early intervention for those in distress and streamline VA customer service.

Keep Our Communities Safe

Whether as our Congressman or as a Pennsylvania State Representative before, Ryan always stands with those who keep our communities safe. In just his first term, he has secured millions of dollars to better support law enforcement and first responders, as well as passed important laws that secure our borders and combat the illegal drug trade – all of which have resulted in crime reaching record lows.

If re-elected, Ryan will continue to work with law enforcement and colleagues across the aisle to develop and support legislative initiatives that help improve public safety across our community and the nation.

Stand Up for Common Sense

Our communities don’t want to see hate, extremism, or radical politics taking over our schools, workplaces, and local governments. Congressman Mackenzie proudly stands on the side of common sense and fairness — protecting parents’ rights, opposing men in women’s sports, and standing up to radical policies that push us to the extreme instead of finding common ground.

Work Together to Deliver Results

In Congress, Ryan has built upon the successful bipartisan work he did as a State Representative – working across the aisle to develop and introduce legislation that helps everyone. That’s why in just his first year in Congress, he has been recognized for bipartisan leadership, earning the Center Forward Good Governance Award.

He will go back to Washington and continue to work with members of both parties to reduce living costs, support working families, serve veterans, and much more for the people of the Lehigh Valley and Poconos.
